Hi there, my name is Jay Scott Smith. I'm an award-winning veteran broadcaster, journalist, anchor, and writer with more than 20 years of professional broadcasting experience.

An experienced news and sports journalist, he’s covered major events such as the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament, the Democratic National Convention, the Daytona 500, the NFL Draft, and the World Series.

My career has included stops at the Detroit News, MLive.com, and the Asbury Park Press, NBC News, WHYY, NPR, and KYW Newsradio in Philadelphia, as well as WPHL-TV in Philadelphia. My work has also appeared in Newsweek and Vibe Magazine.

He has won four Edward R. Murrow Awards, along with 3 Pennsylvania Associated Press Awards, along with being honored by the Pennsylvania Association of Broadcasters.

He also hosts a podcast called Jay Scott Confidential that features opinions and interviews from some of the industry's biggest names.
